The 2013 Summit will be held on October 15th and 16th, with a focus this year on solving the distributed energy puzzle. We like the analogy of clean energy being a puzzle because, no matter how different the companies and leaders in Maryland may be, we all strive for the same goal: to provide a service we are passionate about to residents in a way that is responsible to the environment and to future generations. Given our position as a leading solar panel installation company in Maryland, we’re excited to see this event take place to bring awareness to Solar Energy.
The Summit will be held at the Marriott Inn and Conference Center on University Boulevard in Hyattsville. This year’s keynote speaker is Jon Wellinghoff, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulator Commission (FERC), an energy attorney with over 37 years of experience in matters related to renewable energy, distributed generation, and energy efficiency. The main objective of the event is to discuss the challenges, solutions, and ideas surrounding the advanced distribution of energy solutions. We’re excited to see several key organizations participate in this event, as collaboration in the industry is paramount to energy conservation initiatives in Maryland. You can register for the conference online, on the Maryland Clean Energy Summit Registration page.
