Since the 1980’s (back when the sun was simply something you sat under to get a tan), President Tom Gaines and his team at the construction/ contracting firm Hencken & Gaines, have built a reputation for doing high quality work, on time, and in budget. You don’t stay in business for 30 years without that kind of integrity. And because we’ve always stayed current on building trends and advances, we’ve been watching the growth of solar energy. What started as experimental and very pricey has now become a smart financial and lifestyle decision. So we’re applying what we learned in three decades of successful building to an industry that we think is only going to keep growing. For us, the move to solar represents a natural evolution. We’ve assembled a very smart team, acquired the best technology, and we’re grounding everything in some rather old fashioned values of service, hard work, honesty and respect.
